Three Services, Each Arranged Around Your Family
Meal planning, occasion support, and family coordination — each available independently, each with a written plan and clear pricing in Malaysian Ringgit.
Back to HomeHow Every Almora Service Works
Every engagement starts the same way: a conversation. Before any plan is made, we spend time understanding the household — the older relative's preferences, the family's schedule, what has been working well and what has not. That initial understanding shapes everything that follows.
From that point, the specific process depends on which service the family has chosen. All three follow a structured cycle: an initial planning phase, a delivery or coordination phase, and an ongoing review to adjust the arrangement as things change.
At every stage, the family receives written documentation — a menu outline, an occasion plan, a family timeline — so there is always a clear, shared record of what has been arranged and what comes next.
Listen First
We understand the household before suggesting anything.
Plan in Writing
Every arrangement is documented and shared with the family.
Coordinate Quietly
Tasks are handled without unnecessary disruption to the home.
Review & Adjust
Plans are updated when the household situation changes.
Everyday Meal Planning & Grocery Coordination
Planning simple, familiar weekly menus and coordinating grocery delivery so the kitchen is always comfortably stocked. Intended for families who want everyday meals organised around an older relative's tastes and routine.
Scope: a weekly planning cycle with coordinated ordering. Includes a menu outline, a grocery list, and coordination with a chosen delivery service.
What Is Included
- Weekly menu outline based on relative's tastes and habits
- Grocery list prepared from the menu
- Coordination with the family's preferred delivery service
- Written record of each week's plan shared with family
How It Works, Week by Week
- 1
Initial preference session — we note the older relative's food preferences, any dietary considerations, and the household's usual routine.
- 2
Menu drafted — a simple weekly menu is prepared and shared with the family for any adjustments before ordering.
- 3
Grocery list prepared and delivery coordinated — the list is submitted to the chosen service, delivery is confirmed, and the household is notified.
- 4
Cycle repeats — with adjustments based on what was used, what was left over, and any preference changes from the family.
Festive & Occasion Support
Helping organise birthdays, holidays, family visits, and special days at home — from preparation to gentle hosting support. Suited to families who want meaningful occasions to feel relaxed and well arranged.
Scope: arranged per occasion with planning ahead of the day. Includes an occasion plan, coordination of helpers, and on-the-day support.
What Is Included
- Written occasion plan prepared in advance
- Coordination of any helpers or arrangements needed
- On-the-day support presence at the home
- Post-occasion notes for future similar events
How It Works, Occasion by Occasion
- 1
Planning conversation — we discuss the occasion, the older relative's wishes, and what the family would like to happen.
- 2
Occasion plan drafted — a written outline covering timing, arrangements, and any coordination needed beforehand.
- 3
Pre-occasion coordination — tasks are handled in the days before: ordering, confirming, arranging the home as requested.
- 4
On-the-day support — an Almora team member is present to assist with anything that arises during the occasion itself.
Family Coordination & Information Service
Helping families plan a steady support routine, gather useful local information, and keep everyone informed. Suited to households juggling several relatives and responsibilities who want one clear point of organisation.
Scope: an initial planning session followed by ongoing coordination. Includes a written support plan, a shared family timeline, and a curated list of local community resources.
What Is Included
- Initial planning session with the family
- Written support plan for the household
- Shared family timeline, accessible to all members
- Curated list of local JB community resources
- Ongoing coordination and plan updates as needed
How It Works
- 1
Initial planning session — Almora meets with the family to understand the household situation, the older relative's needs, and each family member's role.
- 2
Written support plan drafted — a clear document capturing the current arrangements, key contacts, and what each person is responsible for.
- 3
Shared timeline and resource list — a family timeline of upcoming events and appointments, plus a curated list of local JB services and organisations relevant to the household.
- 4
Ongoing coordination — Almora maintains the plan, provides regular summaries to the family, and updates the timeline and resources as the situation evolves.
